this was the graduation of 17 young people from a program with the American Embassy. It was a 2 year program for them to learn English... it was paid for by the Americans. It was a very touching ceremony. The kids met every day for 2 years. These kids come from the poorest families in Esteli. Now they have an opportunity to visit the US.
Grade 5 English class. We were learning how to write a letter in English.
They all wrote to me about their families, their interests. It was so so much fun!
